Schedule
The course is designed for individuals seeking to make a positive impact in society by developing innovative solutions to social problems. The first session takes place in Ladakh, where students will apprentice with fellows from Naropa University to learn how to address population health challenges unique to rural mountain communities. The program will also foster an exploration of the theoretical perspectives of society and development problems such as education, poverty, and globalisation.
As part of the class, participants will be required to participate in weekly online discussions. These discussions will help them understand how to better engage with their peers and will be an important aspect of the learning experience. In addition, the course will require students to complete readings and assignments.
